Teachers

• Review the About History Day and Frequently Asked Questions pages to gain an overview of the National History Day in Wisconsin program. 
• Check out the Standards that History Day can help you meet in your classroom!
• Look over the information available on the Teacher and Student pages.
• Request an introductory packet that contains contest rules, an introductory student guidebook, a teacher's handbook, theme information and project ideas. New teachers and advisors must register with the state coordinator to receive contest registration materials for their region.
• Sign up for a workshop to learn more about the program.
• Invite NHD in Wisconsin staff members into your classroom to introduce History Day and historical research to your students.
• Call or e-mail us with any questions you might have!

Students

• Look at the Students Page and review the Student Handbook to learn more about History Day.
• Talk to a parent or teacher about participating in the program.
• Request an introductory packet from the state coordinator, Sarah Clement, to introduce the project to your advisor.
