David Hagenbucher, of D.C. Everest Junior High School in Schofield, was the recipient of the award for the best military history project for his exhibit, "The Ardennes: Battle of the Bulge: Hitler's Last Desperate Encounter."

Karlee Shaw, Leah Sherfinski, and Danielle Reed, from D.C. Everest High School, won the "Best of State" award in the senior division for their group performance "Roe v Wade."

Mark Van de Loo from Eau Claire won the "Best of State" award in the junior division for his individual documentary "Arthur Collins: His Giant Leap for Mankind."
