National History Day 2009 Finals

National History Day 2009 is complete and Team Wisconsin had a strong showing:
Laura Ball, Milwaukee, placed 1 in the senior paper category
Teddy Boesen, Wauwatosa, placed 6 in the junior website category
Elizabeth Karron, Whitefish Bay, placed 6 in the junior paper category
Jeffrey Zhao and Nate Smith, Madison, placed 6 in the junior group documentary category
Jacob Wrasse, Durand, placed 6 in the senior individual documentary category.
Emma Svenson, Middleton, placed 7 in the senior paper category
Annelise Escher, La Crosse, placed 11 in the junior individual exhibit category
All of our students did a fantastic job this year and we are proud of their accomplishments. They represented our state well and showed us just how much students can achieve through National History Day.
