The 2011 NHD National Contest Awards Ceremony brought an exciting event to a close. We are proud of the accomplishments of all of our students and the excellent way they represented our state. Several members of Team Wisconsin made it to the final round:
-Julia's Junior Individual Performance, "Why Really the Moon," took 2nd place
-John and Philip's Junior Group Website, "Strategic Bombing," took 4th place
-Sam's Junior Individual Documentary, "The Comic Book Debates of the 1940s and 1950s," took 4th place
-Charlie and Briana's Senior Group Documentary, "The Wisconsin Bennett Law of 1889," took 10th place
-Emma's Junior Individual Documentary, "Elizabeth Cady Stanton," took 12th place
-Maisy's Junior Individual Documentary, "Peg Brenden's Pre-Title IX Case," took 13th place

Outstanding State Junior Division
 John and Philip won the Outstanding State Junior Division for their Junior Group Website.
John and Philip won the Outstanding State Junior Division prize for their website examining strategic bombing during World War II. Their website also placed fourth in the nation.

Outstanding State Senior Divison
 Briana, Charlie and their teacher after winning the Outstanding State Senior Division Award.
Briana and Charlie won the Outstanding State Senior Division award for their senior group performance on the Wisconsin Bennett Law. Their project also placed tenth in the nation.
