Materials for School
History Day Events
School History Day
events offer a great opportunity to bring families, school administrators,
and other community members into the classroom. Schools
with large numbers of History Day students generally must have
a competitive event at the school in order to select the students
who will proceed to the regional level. Entry limits for each
regional event are determined by the regional
coordinator.
School events vary
in size and complexity depending on the number of students participating
and the time and resources available. The materials below are
samples of task lists, correspondence, and judging materials
that can be adapted to the scale of your event.
