Tobogganing greatest winter sport in La Crosse thirty-five years ago
Wisconsin winters have long inspired residents to enthusiastically adopt winter sports. In the winter of 1885, young men in La Crosse organized the La Crosse Toboggan Club, maintaining a huge slide for descending sleds as well as a skating rink.
