Milwaukee laborer and photographer for the Wisconsin CIO News, Ed Eisenscher captured these images of the city's labor movement after World War II. Addressing both economic and social needs, unions were influential, popular, and fairly effective in lobbying for the rights of workers in Milwaukee.
