Women Safe at Work at Allis-Chalmers
Hundreds of women went to work at Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company during the war. Because wartime needs created a great demand for labor, workers were urged to take extra care to guard their health and safety. Allis-Chalmers created this booklet for women that advised on proper clothing, first aid, exercise, diet, and workplace safety.
