Maps and texts of all Wisconsin treaty cessions

Maps of land cessions by Wisconsin tribes

This volume (United States Serial Set Number 4015) contains sixty-seven maps and two long text tables compiled by Charles C. Royce showing the boundaries of all lands ceded by Indian nations to the U.S. government. These originally appeared in the Eighteenth Annual Report of the Bureau of American Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, 1896-1897. The tables define the boundaries of all cessions as they were stated in treaties through 1894, and the maps depict where each was located.
