Oconomowoc, Waukesha and the lake region of Waukesha County, Wisconsin, all these lakes and resorts are within four hours ride of Chicago, on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway.

In order to promote their rail lines, many rail companies produced maps and guides to tourist destinations located along their routes.
