Title: Nadzab Air Freight
Description: Soldiers relax and wait for flights at the Nadzab Air Freight building. One soldier leans on the corner of the building. Another soldier, possibly Major Meredith M. Huggins of Salem, Oregon, sits on a box next to Robert Doyle's helmet and case with "Milwaukee Journal" stenciled on it. A sign above the door reads "3rd Air Freight Forwarding Squadron." The Nadzab Airport was near the Lae Airstrip, New Guinea (present day Papua New Guinea), but was able to receive larger aircraft.
