Rose Sussman
Rose Sussman, a former ballet dancer and teacher, shopping for a dress in a Madison store. The former Rose Goloff was born in the southern Ukraine section of Russia and was an eye witness to the atrocities of the Revolution in 1917. On four separate occasions she was lined up to be shot by Cossacks, but each time was somehow saved. She stated: "When you've seen people starve to death and be mowed down by bullets in the firing line, you have a special appreciation of the greatness of America." Rose is currently the wife of Democratic assemblyman from Milwaukee, Norman Sussman. |
