Mad Hat Luncheon
Original colorful hats of all types and designs appeared at the spring "Mad Hat" luncheon at the Blackhawk Country Club. Irene Marsh and Ann Rundell wore hats to represent their husbands' occupations. The wife of one of Wisconsin's coaches, Irene Marsh, wore a "football" cap of overseas type trimmed with souvenirs of the fall season. Ann Rundell, the wife of a dentist, chose a neutral straw hat with a trim of false teeth, toothpaste and brush, cotton pads and other dental accessories. |
