A young girl in a frilly dress holding rhythmn sticks sits front and center among the smiling members of the Honey Creek School Rhythm Band. They are all in costume with sashes and caps; many hold triangles. The girl is identified on the reverse of the photograph only as the leader. All were students at the Honey Creek School, District No. 1, and performed at the George Washington Bicentennial birthday celebration at the Honey Creek Hall. They are posed outside the school building.
