From left to right the schools include: Randall, Longfellow, Franklin, Draper, Washington, Dot, Central, Brayton, Lincoln, Harvey, Marquette, Lapham, Hawthorne, Emerson, Annex, and Lowell. Some schools include notes about incoming freshman. Lapham: "56 ninth grade pupils in East Side High School coming from territory west of the Yahara. May 27, 1925". Central: "101 ninth grade pupils in CHS coming from territory between Wisconsin Ave. and the Yahara May 27, 1925". Washington: "128 ninth grad pupils in CHS (between Wisconsin Av., Park St. and the railway) May 27, 1925." Some schools include brief notes about ninth grade pupils. Streets are labeled, as are Lake Wingra, Lake Mendota, and Lake Monona. |
