Haymarket Square is at the Intersection of Randolph and Desplaines streets close to City Hall by the South Branch of the Chicago River. In this scene, thousands have gathered protesting the killing by police officers of two union member McCormick reaper factory workers during a confrontation between the union workers and their replacements the previous day. |
