Ole Bull Residence
Ole Bull Residence, 130 East Gilman Street. The family is playing croquet on the lawn. Later, the house was known as the Thorp House. It became the state's Governor's Residence when Gov. Jeremiah Rusk sold the house to the state in 1885. In 1950 the house was sold to the University of Wisconsin for the Knapp Graduate Center. |
