Beriah Brown
Quarter-length oval portrait of Beriah Brown. He was born in Canandaigua, New York, on February 21, 1815. Brown came to the territory of Wisconsin in July of 1835, and resided in Delafield, Waukesha County. He worked as a printer and journalist, and later served a one year term as mayor of Seattle, Washington, in 1878. |
