Lakeside Station
Lakeside station near "Water Cure." The Lakeside Water Cure, in today's Olin Park on the south side of Lake Monona, was completed in August 1855. Patients were treated in the steam-heated main building, which accommodated 80. On August 21, 1877, the facility burned and was not rebuilt. |
