Page 63 of 70. Prophecy on page 62 reads, "But now from the noise and excitement of the circus we are taken by our prophet to a dingy little office on a lonesome side street. Outside swings a worn sign "P.R. Ryan, Attorney at Law." Inside, buried deep in his book, behold our old school mate, pale, stoop shouldered and emaciated. He has learned at an awful cost that lawyers are many and cases few, but his strong will with which we are all acquainted, causes him to persevere year after year. Surely his efforts will be rewarded and in the dim future like a guiding star, shine the office which will fulfill his fondest hopes, a notary public and Justice of the Peace." All we know about Paul H. Ryan's life is that he worked as a lumberman in Washington State in 1910. Information about Paul H. Ryan has been researched through U.S. census data. |
