ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Original typewritten caption reads: "Just think of the excitement Earle Morris, R.F.D. Enterprise was having on Feb. 24th trying to plow that stump land for cotton. Most Alabama farmers seem to hold to a theory similar to David Harum's about the fleas: 'Some fleas are good for the dog for they keep him from dwelling too too (sic) much upon the fact that he is a dog.' Likewise some stumps are good for the Alabama farmer for they keep his mind from dwelling too long at a time while plowing around them, on the fact that he probably will not be able to make enough to settle up all of his credit bills at the close of the season."
