Bennett Family, House and Auto
The H.H. Bennett House, Kilbourn, with members of the family posing in front of the house and in a 1901 Winton automobile. Ashley Bennett, the son of the famous photographer, is tentatively identified as the driver of the car which is so early that has a tiller rather than a steering wheel. Like his father, Ashley had a talent for tinkering and even experimented with building his own airplane. Ashley was in the automobile business in Minneapolis. |
