Thomas Jefferson Crumley was born on July 15, 1861 and died on January 24, 1927. He was the son of Benjamin Newton Crumley and Arabella Catherine Shoemaker. This photograph was taken for International Harvester's Agricultural Extension Department. Folder: Miscellaneous The original typewritten text is partially missing, but the remainder reads: "...ten cents a pound for the meat and fifteen cents a pound for the lard, making a total of $45.00, or $25.00 for dressing the hog and he saved the trouble of hauling the live hog ten miles to market."
