In the Uranium Tunnel
Men and women seated on benches along both walls of Kenneth Crook's Uranium Tunnel in Lone Rock. Note the uranium pads visitors hold in their laps or on their feet. Padding on the floor also contains uranium ore. One woman reads and another knits while absorbing the low grade radiation. There is a floor fan at one end of the tunnel. |
