ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original typewritten caption reads: "Model 63 International Motor Trucks and two trailers owned by the Liberty Highway Company, Toledo, Ohio. This company owns four Model 63 trucks and uses them to haul freight and merchandise between Detroit, Toledo, and Cleveland. About 125 miles a day is the average run. Two of the trucks have been operated over 5,000 miles. The trucks are frequently overloaded, often as much as five tons. The trailers are loaded as much as 6 1/2 tons. These trailers are made by the Fruehauf Trailer Company, Detroit, Michigan. A record of oil, gas, and mileages is kept in a special book. This information may be obtained from Elmer Hoffman, C/O Liberty Highway Company, Toledo. The average consumption of gasoline is a gallon per five or six miles pulling trailers. The company is very well pleased with International service and states that one reason why they continue to buy and use Internationals is the fact that this service is so well liked by them. The trucks are operated day and night, but the repair costs are not excessive."
