Head and shoulders oval studio portrait of Andreas Pederson [as written on the photograph backing; also written as Anders Pederson on Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20 (“Blue Book”) and published rosters: Roster of Wisconsin Volunteers, Volume 1 (1886) and Wisconsin Volunteers (1914) ; and written as Andrew Pederson on Descriptive Rolls Volume 20 (“Red Book”)], a private in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. On February 12, 1865, he was temporarily detached to the 24th Wisconsin Infantry. Then on June 10, 1865, he was transferred to Company I, 13th Wisconsin Infantry. He was mustered out of service as a member of Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry on July 29, 1865 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin due to orders from the War Department dated April 29, 1865. |
