Information:
Forrest Stanley's performance was sharply criticized in the film's New York Times review titled "Hero Spoils Film Play": "He was one of the old fashioned type of movie hero. He wore his abundant hair after the style prescribed in the Taxicab Chauffeurs' Handbook. He rolled his eyes in close-ups, showed a set of teeth and ditto dimples whenever he smiled, wore a Windsor tie and his hat brim turned down in the back, an affectation popular among freshmen in 1900. . . ."
