Two maps that show the rail lines of the Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie Railway Company in Wisconsin. The first map shows these lines on the Map of soils of Wisconsin from the state geological report, providing detail on the type of soil in relation to railway lines and towns and cities. The second map shows these lines on a railroad map of the state, with the land grant lands in Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, Lincoln, Oneida, Price, Rusk, and Taylor counties shaded in red. The maps also show the railways in eastern Minnesota and Iowa, and northern Illinois and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. |
