Information:
Based on the novel by E. P. Rowe, Ellis's adaptation opened in 1910, probably at the Criterion Theatre in Brooklyn (which she and her husband, Frank A. Baker leased) and directed by Ellis herself. She later went on to become a prominent theosophist and wrote books transcribing the experiences of a dead eighteenth-century American farm boy.
