Description: Memohead of a newspaper originally published in Stockbridge as the "Union", but known as the "Wisconsin Demokrat" after its editor moved production to Chilton. On the left is a portrait of Jos. Grassold, publisher, and fleurs-de-lis on both sides. Printed in red ink with gold framing accents and serpentine flourishes on light yellow paper by Clark Engraving, Milwaukee.
