A promotional card displaying a populated village street near a lake in Northern Wisconsin. The caption bellow the photography reads: "RIB LAKE, TAYLOR COUNTY, WIS. — This thriving village is located upon the banks of the beautiful lake bearing the same name. The above gives a glimpse of one of its streets. The large building at the end of the street is a boarding house operated in connection with the saw mill. There is also here a tannery and charcoal kiln. The lands immediately surrounding are of the very finest for agriculture and the opportunities for the poor man to get a start upon a piece of the land are excelled.
