Title: Daylight Saving Referendum Set
Description: The photo caption states in full, "Gov. Vernon W. Thomson had an audience of six daylight saving time advocates when he signed into law the bill setting up a mandatory referendum on the issue for April 2nd. Left to right are, first row, Gov. Thomson, Lester Olseen, and Clarence Muth, and, in the second row, Lester Brann, and Assemblymen Earle Fricker (R-Milwaukee), Glen Pommerening (R-Wauwatosa), Harvey Abraham (R-Oshkosh)." The photo caption continues, "the three assemblymen are authors of the bill and the other three represent the Milwaukee Assn. of Commerce, which is opening a 'get-out-the-vote' drive in support of daylight saving time. If Wisconsin voters approve on April 2nd, the state will go on daylight saving time each summer, beginning April 29."
