DMC Club |
| Description: |
Group of fifteen women gathered around three tables behind home, probably the DMC Club, an exclusive social and sewing society named for an imported brand of French fancywork cotton crocheting , also know locally as the Damn Mean Crowd Club by outsiders. Probably taken at Charles J. Van Schaick's house. Behind them quilts are hung on a line from the edge of the house all the way across the background, and there are rugs on the ground. Identified by Joanne Dougherty. Mrs. Charles Van Schaick is seated on the far right.
