Man Standing on a Railroad Loading Dock
A man is standing on a railroad loading dock near a factory building, probably the McCormick Works. He is dressed in dark pants, a light-colored shirt, suspenders, and a hat. On the dock is a large barrel and what appears to be several carts of building or manufacturing supplies. On the railroad tracks are a boxcar for the "Chicago & Alton" railroad company. Two men inside the boxcar are leaning against the inside of the car, with only their arms and heads visible above the sides. |
