Title: Obey at Ground Zero
Description: Wisconsin Congressman David R. Obey, wearing a blue shirt, is standing in the foreground. Behind him, also in a blue shirt, is Florida Congressman Bill Young. They are, respectively, the ranking Democrat and Republican chair of the House Appropriations Committee. Obey and Young were there to see the site at the World Trade Center shortly after the 9/11 attack first-hand. Obey and Young are standing at the intersection of Vesey Street and the West Side Highway. Behind them are the ruins of World Trade Center Building 6 (6 WTC)and the debris pile of the North Tower.
