Title: Fricker House
Description: Three views of the Fricker House on Case Street, Whitewater's first modern house, the first of its kind in Whitewater. It was finished in the winter of 1937. The builder was George Fred Keck. The house was designed for William and Mary Fricker, former professors at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. It was a two-story, flat roofed frame house without a cellar, set on a poured concrete foundation with a two foot ventilated space between the concrete and the wood frame. The house was clad with 10-inch vertical cedar siding.
