Description: Exterior view of buildings damaged by a gas explosion and fire in the 200 block of North Bassett Street and the 600 block of East Main Street. Pictured is a sign for Hanson Auto Body, 644 East Main Street. Businesses destroyed on North Bassett Street included Hyland Hall and Co., 212 North Bassett Street, the White Cross Pharmacy, 220 North Bassett Street and the Capital Upholstering Shop, 222 North Bassett Street. Businesses destroyed on East Main Street included Hansen Auto Body, 644 East Main Street and portions of the Red Arrow Sales Co. at 650 East Main Street.
