Title: Bride Ruth Ann Berkholtz Walking Down the Aisle
Description: Ruth Ann Berkholtz walks down the aisle in the United Church of Christ/Congregational Church, Delavan, Wisconsin. An usher stands to the right in the background. A painting of Jesus is visible behind him. Through the open door, the decorated wedding car can be seen. Ms. Berkholtz sewed her wedding dress from a Vogue Couturier Design pattern, #1155, option "C", designed by Belinda Bellville. The pattern was purchased at Northwest Fabrics. The material for the dress was purchased at the Swiss Miss Textile Mart in New Glarus. The wedding dress, veil, and pattern are in the collection of the Wisconsin Historical Society (2012.195.1-2).
