Campaign poster for Victoria Gray. She ran against the policies of white segregationist Senator John Stennis. Along with Fannie Lou Hammer, Annie Devine, and Aaron Henry, she helped found the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. During the Freedom Summer of 1964, she helped open the Freedom Schools that pushed for civil rights. At the top of the poster the text reads, "Freedom Means", at the foot, "Vote For Victoria Gray," then smaller text below, "Lyndon Johnson - President, Hubert Humphrey - Vice-President, Aaron Henry - Senate, Fannie Lou Hamer - Congress 2nd.
