Title: Notice!!
Description: A campaign notice that corrects misinformation being circulated by the candidate's opponents. The text reads, "Notice!! To the Electors of the 8th Senatorial District: I am informed that for the purpose of defeating my election, persons are busily employed in reporting that I am in favor of STATE ASSUMPTION. I reply, that if elected to the Senate, I will oppose any such measure, believing, as I do, that the State has no more right to assume that kind of corporate debts, than any other liabilities, either of corporations or individuals. George Bennett. Kenosha, Nov. 8, 1859."
