Description: Engraving of the dedication ceremony for the Soldiers' National Cemetery, November 19,1863, that appeared in "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper." It was at this ceremony that President Abraham Lincoln delivered his Gettysburg Address, one of the most famous speeches in American history. Other images on this two-page spread from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper include soldiers' graves, Round Top Mountain, the "slaughter pen" of Gettysburg from Granite Top, Meade's headquarters, and Gettysburg itself.
