Title: Ned Gillam with Two Ministers
Description: Photograph of three ministers taken by a civil rights volunteer. "Ned Gillam, Disciple of Christ minister, Fairfield, Iowa, was denied admittance to the Disciple of Christ church in McComb after it became known that he was working for the Delta Ministry. Known members of the Ku Klux Klan belonged to this church. The other two ministers were quietly active in trying to bring white businessmen, clergy, etc., into a dialogue of concern in McComb. These two men also visited Natchez a few days in order to ascertain what value the Delta Ministry could have. Their report was a negative one since Negroes of Natchez were at that time not working together."
