Description: Students in a Freedom School singing and clapping in an image taken by a civil rights volunteer. "Freedom School - Freedom singing led by youngsters and Dennis Selig, a young man from Chicago who was the obvious favorite teacher in the Freedom School. Occasionally he would leave the school in order to demonstrate, e.g., he formed the picket line of the Holiday Sun strike of the seven maids."
