Title: Truck Towing Pirate Ship Float in Parade
Description: Color photo of a Thanksgiving Day Parade, either Macy's Parade in Manhattan, New York, or Gimbels' Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A blue and brown International Harvester Scout 4x4 is pulling a float built to look like a pirate ship. The pirate ship has a large skull on the front, and a picture of a skull and crossbones on the sail. A red lobster-like creature with a yellow beard and what may be a blue bandana is rising out of the water at the base of the float. Behind the float is a group of men in white suits with white top hats and women in pink dresses with black trim and hats. Further back is a float with two levels, red, white, and blue striped pillars, and men in what may be Confederate soldier uniforms. A band can be seen on the side of the street, and trees are in the background.
