Title: Christmas Scene
Description: Family holiday scene in a living room or parlor. A Christmas tree is perched on a table in the center of the image. It is trimmed with tinsel garland, shiny balls, paper bells and candles. On the right, two young men and a young woman stand with their arms full of gifts. On the left, two women and a man stand between the tree and a large cast iron stove. They also have gifts in their arms. More gifts and other items are stacked under the tree. Among the gifts are a box of nuts with a silver dish, leather mittens and slippers, ties, books, picture frames, perfume, and an apron. Torn paper and open boxes litter the floor. A stack of books or magazines appear under the table. Decorations hang from the ceiling light fixture. The men are wearing suits and the women are wearing dresses.
