Haugen, Einar Ingvald, 1906- "Pastor Dietrichson of Old Koshkonong"

Pastor Dietrichson of Old Koshkonong: In this article the author describes the career of Pastor Johan Wilhelm Christian Dietrichson (1815-1883) at the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Koshkonong near Utica, Wisconsin, from 1844-1850, using Dietrichson's church records. Dietrichson was quite outspoken about the actions of church members and was not wholly supportive of pioneer preaching, which prompted his return to Norway in 1850. (18 pages)
