Evjue, William Theodore, 1882-1970 "Albert O. Barton"

Albert O. Barton: This is a brief obituary and personal appreciation, with a portrait, of Barton (1870-1947), who was not only a journalist and author but close associate of Robert M. La Follette (1855-1925). He was an influential Progressive publicist, leading the author to conclude that "were it not for the Albert Bartons, there could have been no Bob La Follette nor Wisconsin Idea." (2 pages)
