Lucas Bradley: Carpenter, Builder, Architect: Bradley (1809-1889) operated a flourishing architectural business in Racine, Wisconsin, from 1844 to the late 1880s, designing churches, schools, homes, businesses, buildings, and a bridge for the growing city. His major work was the First Presbyterian Church of Racine, dedicated in 1852, the design and construction of which is detailed, along with his work on a church in Beloit and a high school in Racine.
