Felipe Avila

Felipe Avila is the GIS Coordinator for the Wisconsin Historical Society. He has a BA in Political Science and Anthropology from the Ohio State University and graduate certificate in GIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has given talks on practical applications of technology in archaeology, including LIDAR, aerial photography, and environmental monitoring, and using GIS technology for analysis in archaeology, stormwater management, crime analysis, emergency management, and business. Felipe is based at the Society's headquarters in Madison.
