Taste Hop-Infused History at Old World Wisconsin!

Eagle, Wis. – Gather your friends and experience Historic Brewing at Old World Wisconsin starting this Saturday, June 1.  Plus, Wiesn in a Box, a pop-up beer garden that’s traveling the county to celebrate shared history and experiences and culture between the United States and Germany will also be out this weekend.

“We are excited to bring this popular program back for the 2019 season,” said Dan Freas, director of Old World Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Historical Society.

In partnership with the Museum of Beer and Brewing, volunteer brewers use the equipment and techniques from the late 1800s to bring the taste of 19th-century beer to guests. Guests can taste historic brewed beer starting June 15.

Historic Brewing demonstrations will take place on select Saturdays June through October. Check the website for full listings.

The brewing process will begin at 10 am and conclude by 3 pm.  Each brewing event is included with Old World Wisconsin admission.  Site admission prices are: Adults $20, senior (65+) $18, children (5-12) $10, children 4 and under are free, senior citizens (65+): $16.  Fees include the all-day use of the tram transportation around the grounds.  Parking on site is free.
